Life has a way of throwing us into seasons we never asked for. For me, that meant navigating a daughter’s traumatic brain injury, the loss of my brother to suicide, the death of my mother from leukemia, and the end of a twenty-three-year marriage—all within a short window of time.
I’ve learned that while education is valuable, life experience is the ultimate teacher. As an educator and author, I’ve spent my career crafting stories that mirror the messy reality of this earthly experience. Whether I’m writing contemporary fiction or speaking to an audience, my mission is the same: to provide a roadmap for walking through the fire with a heart fixed on God.
